My quilt group - The Twisted Sisters had our annual Christmas party last week. We draw names for the little girls to do a gift exchange, and we do a handmade gift exchange. We draw numbers and that is the order in which you select a gift, either from the gift table or you can steal a gift. It is always a lot of fun with good food and laughter.
Here are the kids ranging in age from 2 weeks to nineteen.
The first order of business, we celebrated Briella with a baby quilt. Whirligig is the standard pattern for all of the babies, but we vary the colors and setting.
Diane made a scarf with wool pennies at the end...you can't see those in the picture, there is also a wool\felt ornament and a wool ball bracelet.
I made this courthouse steps little quilt.
Jill is modeling an apron and canned pears and apples.

We have a lot of talent in our group, and it is always fun to see what project everyone decides to make, and which gifts get "stolen." Some years there are always a couple gifts that get snatched the maximum of three times. This year there wasn't much stealing, it seemed that everyone ended up with a gift that suited them. It is funny how that turns out.
