Then I went to cut my binding and couldn't find the fabric I wanted to use. I knew I put it in a "special place" but darn if I could remember where that was. Finally after I decided I needed to find something different, I found a little less than a half yard of the same red I used for the block centers.
In the end I am happy with how this turned out. Not perfect, but almost finished. I will get this done for the fair and our guild quilt show.
That is my new carpet too!
